A Letter to Joe

If I could tell my 19-year-old self a few things, I’d start with these little bits of wisdom (Disclaimer: I’m 24 now, and I still don’t know shit): Develop meaningful personal relationships. Don’t do it for business—and never for meretricious reasons—but because it’s what life is about. Connect with as many people as possible, because that’s the most important factor I’ve gleaned in living a meaningful and sustainable life, not just because of the opportunities that it has afforded, but for the depth that it’s added to my character.
