As we launch The OK Times, I am grounded in pride, community, and a high level of respect for my team and our respective communities. Back in 2014, when folks would ask me ‘What is your magazine going to be about?,’ I would always respond with, ‘A little bit of something for everyone—a pot of Gumbo!’ I just knew that Off-Kilter was only the beginning and that I would somehow find a way to have a collection of publications that explored different ideas from the lens of inclusion.

FUX WITH MAGAZINE is an online magazine and creative collective dedicated to recognizing, appreciating, and unraveling Chicago’s signature DIY arts scene, and more specifically, the voices of those who mold it. Music, film, fashion, writing, fine art, event spaces; FUX WITH fosters a relationship and interview process with artists where they can have quirks, flaws, stories, and hobbies outside of their art so we can get to know them in a completely organic way. We don’t really FUX so much with pitch emails or shameless plugs because we’re not your typical blog. We know you’re all worth it and we know your work is too. Tell us why, tell us what’s unique, and just be you. That’s where the beauty is born & that’s what we fux with writing about.
