What is your idea of perfect happiness?
My idea of happiness is determination despite life’s many adversities. I don’t equate perfection with happiness because it articulates that there is an end goal or result; genuine happiness blooms in the mud and the sun.
What is your motto?
Energy is life and will give you insight into things that people may even deny themselves.
What is your current state of mind?
The Hermit tarot card: Hermit’s ability to use his isolation and the knowledge he has gained as a tool upon his path to reach even higher levels of awareness. -Biddy tarot. I’ve been in isolation and doing a lot of reflection, planning, and reading. I realized I’m always seeking and exploring truth.
How would you like to die?
With no regrets.
What is it that you love most about what you do?
I love hearing people tell their stories or have the courage to speak their truths in an open forum.

When did you realize that you wanted to be a creative?
My entire life, more deliberately when I was 26 going on 27. I guess traveling around the world will bring you back to center.
What motivates you?
I’m extroverted so being around positively charged people.
What do you love about being a woman?
Like the game of Chess, I like the mobility of the Queen. Although in a patriarchal world, the queen has abilities even patriarchy struggles to confine.
What is your experience of being a woman, while also being a creative?
It comes with many things. Being a black creative woman, however, comes with people wanting to take more than they give and wanting to know secrets to things they can only achieve through experience or lack thereof. I rest my work on my integrity; that’s my standard of living and creating.
