What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being content with who I am and what I do.
What is your motto?
Disadvantages become blessings. Encountering an obstacle will only push you out of your comfort zone and will force you to think of a completely original way to solve the problem. In the end you will be wiser and stronger than you were before.
What is your current state of mind?
A tad bit stressed, but hopeful. I just had a nice cup of hot chocolate and bought a concert ticket so things are alright.
How would you like to die?
In the least inconvenient way possible. Although I’d hate to die doing something stupid.
What is it that you love most about what you do?
I love the creative freedom. The ability to use such a diverse set of concepts and mediums and even collaborate with other creatives to bring an idea to life.
If you could have a conversation with anybody (alive or dead), who would it be?
I’d either want to talk to Walt Disney or Charlie Chaplin. Both are extremely creative individuals who I believe would have a lot of wisdom that would help me on my path in life.
When did you realize that you wanted to be a creative?
I don’t think I’ve ever had a revelation that I wanted to be a creative, it’s just my state of being, it’s ingrained into who I am.
What motivates you?
Fear. In a broader sense, insecurities. If I want to create something or change an aspect of myself, I will do it in the hopes of bettering myself and what I do.
What do you love about being a woman?
Women have certain obstacles to face and societal pressures that give us a certain mobility when it comes to facing problems. With these obstacles, I’ve developed a strength that will help me push through life tackling all of my problems head on.
What is your experience of being a woman, while also being a creative?
I find that it really depends on what people you choose to surround yourself with and who you decide to work with. I’ve had people fail to take me seriously and try to belittle me and my ideas. But I’ve also encountered wonderful human beings that want to help me succeed and that I want to do the same for.
